on children.
Users and Abusers
I see the writing on the wall
About to erupt, where will things fall
How can some men be so damn bold
Using intimidation, this story is getting old.
Why must things continue as they do
Women used, being battered too
Being expendable when the time comes
What goes wrong, it is certainly dumb!
There are those that are users
Just as sadly, others are abusers
These type of people we all detest
They continue to prey and infest.
Support groups attempt to aid
The abused are many, also terribly afraid
I pray they wake up, seeing the light
Searching out help, both smart and right!

We believe that things will get better. We also believe all the lies they
tell us. This is your fault, I wouldn't have done it if you had done this
or that". Whatever the lies are, we eventually start to believe them.
The reality is that they are manupulations to keep us under their control.
They are lies so that he can have power over us. We start to believe the
lies. It must be my fault. If I would have done it differently, he wouldn't
have beat me. Don't fall for the lies. They aren't true. They are just
his way of keeping you in control.
Please get out and get help. You will see that there really is sunshine
on the other side It is beautiful and you will find out that someone does
want you. They want your gentle heart, your caring soul and all that you
are, just as you are!
