Just
a Few Minutes More
Something of which you are
unaware,
a thing I do each morning
When I wake and feel you next to me soft and warm,
I look at the clock and see that there is still time.
I can hold you close to me, just a little while more.
Glad am I to have these
stolen moments while you rest,
Happy that you are in my life and in the quiet I appreciate my good fortune.
No distractions just spirits mingling; warm bodies touching,
I edge closer and smile to myself, I can know bliss.
Not time to get up yet, I can caress you, my love,
Just a few minutes more.
All My Love,
