Magical Creatures
When joined with an enchanted being a responsibility is assumed
It falls upon the guardian to keep magic alive
For if he wanes the magic fades, and the world suffers
These are powerful yet gentle and fragile such is the contradiction of their existence
Their protection to be undertaken so their vitality can heal
The joy they are fed transmuted to affection so needed
This gift of love to be experienced by all
Though so often so misunderstood it thusly becomes more indispensable
Warriors of light, knight's errant heed the call to arms
Nobility as our mantle and this be our creed
That we are bound by purpose when our angel is in need.
I vow that I will remain your Champion for all eternity
All my love Doug
