This page is dedicated to my grandmother on my father's side. She was the gentlest soul anyone ever knew. She spread love to everyone she knew. I loved her very much and regret that when she passed away I was a selfish teenager who couldn't be bothered to visit her grandmother.

Her heart was very pure and she radiated love.

She was always there for us. When I wanted something she was easily manipulated (or so I though) that she would give us anything. Now I think it was just because she loved us so much.

One year after getting our polio shot at school, I came home and found home-made fudge outside the window getting cooled in winter. I knew that I had given up candy for lent, so I immediately hatched a plan. I stumbled in the front door and fell down. She rushed over and asked what was wrong. I said I had gotten a shot at school and they told me that I would need fudge to heal. She smiled and said "That's wonderful, I just made some so you'll be better soon". My mother came home just as I was finishing off the first batch...and I got into trouble for it but the fudge was worth it.

Dear Granny:
I am so sorry that when you passed away, that I was too selfish to go and say good-bye. I know you are in Heaven with God, so please watch over me and all of my family.
